Regan backing off from Sevco enquiry

|

Stewart Regan newsThe SFA have still to decide whether or not Rangers International have a case to answer over their involvement with Craig Whyte.

Almost a month after an internal investigation from Pinsent Masons was delivered to the Ibrox boardroom the SFA are unsure whether further questions need to be asked despite the club acknowledging that they had received a letter before claim from Sevco 5088 after the report had been completed.

At the heart of the matter is how the club assets were transferred from Sevco 5088 to Sevco Scotland. Green has admitted to deceiving Whyte over the matter and  recently revealed  that legal action could run for a decade or more.

Green is believed to have told the SFA that Whyte had no interest in the newco but successful legal action from the former Motherwell born billionaire would blow that pledge out of the water.

Discussing the situation after the SFA AGM, Stewart Regan said: “We said at the outset there were a number of questions the club had to answer. That remains the case.

“We also said we needed to see the report being carried out by Pinsent Masons. I can confirm we have now seen that report.

“A formal brief will go to the Scottish FA on that particular subject towards the end of this month. We will decide what steps we’ll take if any.

“I think it is hugely important for Scottish football that we don’t have yet another summer of acrimony, bitterness, falling out and unhappiness amongst supporters and club staff alike.

“We’ve got to move forward and do whatever we can, collectively, to get the game right in Scotland.”

It’s highly unlikely that the SFA will carry out their own investigation since any negative findings would reflect badly on those involved in granting Green associate membership.

However Whyte’s threat of legal action and the continuing war within the Ibrox boardroom are likely to derail Regan’s wish to ‘move forward collectively to get the game right in Scotland.’

Whatever the SFA do we should keep the pressure on them. The Whyte/ Green scandal will not go away. They are /were in business together and Whyte will cause more problems for the SFA and Sevco losers and their Vulture Capitalists.

“We’ve got to move forward and do whatever we can, collectively, to get the game right in Scotland”.

What Regan doesn’t seem to understand is that this can’t happen while truth remains a casualty,& the SFA,Sevco & the media do everything in their power to avoid answering the difficult questions about the fakeover; the connections between Green & Whyte; the alleged fraudulence of the share issue; the awarding of Rangers 1872’s European license in 2011,etc etc etc, then there can be no “moving forward”. No justice: no peace.

What Green did by his own admission was deception and fraud no matter who it was committed against. I agree with the comments, … k all will be done about it if Regan. & “What school did you go to son”Ogilve, and Co have their way. Unless our White Knight wins his action in court against Green and the silent partners, then the s**t will really hit the oul under bags.

Celtic did not oppose the re-election of CO. Other than revelling in victimhood status I can’t see how I can continue to support Celtic. It’s over. The game is finished.
