Hilarious Rod Stewart and Neil Lennon faceswap

Neil Lennon and Rod Stewart have been given an unlikely faceswap by a popular twitter account.

With their distinctive hairstyles the two Celts are naturals for the service with the hoops boss transformed by Stewart’s spikey blonde look while the singer looks totally different under Lennon’s distinctive ginger style.

Stewart is a regular visitor to Celtic Park taking in as many run of the mill SPFL clashes as he does Champions League ties after first revealing his devotion to the club in the early seventies.

While some Glasgow celebrities like to hedge their bets by playing the Partick Thistle card the London-born singer has had no such issues making his friendships with Kenny Dalglish, Jimmy Johnstone and Bobby Lennox well known.

In the mid seventies the Celtic support regularly sang Stewart’s ‘We Are Sailing’ song at matches with  Celtic and Manchester United both mentioned in his chart-topping ‘You’re In My Hearts’ song from the same era.

With his latest son named Aiden there is no doubting where Stewart’s heart is with last season’s 2-1 win over Barcelona seeing the singer break down in tears as he watched the match from the directors box.

Lennon has had his own hair issues down the years and arrived at Celtic 13 years ago as a bottle blonde midfielder.

That look was gradually phased out over the years as he returned to his roots in the closing days of his playing career.

Since taking over as Celtic manager he has remained a committed ginger although the picture above may give him some inspiration for a change of look.
