Transparency campaigner Ally McCoist wants to keep the Sevco AGM vote a secret!
The £850,000 a year League One boss holds a crucial 3% shareholding in the troubled club having invested alongside his business partners Charlie Green and Imran Ahmad in the summer of 2012.
The current Ibrox board look likely to win the day over Jim McColl’s rebels but rather than show some leadership it looks like McCoist will keep his voting intentions quiet before declaring after the vote that the winning faction are great guys to work alongside and share the same ambitions as he has.
Discussing the AGM as he looked forward to tonight’s big match away to Stenhousemuir the Sevco boss admitted: “I haven’t fully weighed up the options of which way to vote yet and I’m not sure I’ll be making it public.”
McCoist famously demanded in 2012 that the names of the three man panel that awarded the club a transfer embargo rather than suspension be made public.
The identity of the panel were already known to Ibrox football administrator Andrew Dickson, shortly afterwards Raith Rovers were informed by the police of genuine threats to set Starks Park ablaze.
More significantly former VAT convict Sandy Easdale spoke in public yesterday for the first time about his role at Ibrox and the way forward with a looming cash crisis.
Lamentably he was given a predictably cosy interview by the BBC concentrating on the Charles Green issue which was easily batted aside by the well prepared Renfrewshire transport tycoon.
Showing more teeth Peter Smith of STV got closer to the real issues with questions about Margarita and Blue Pitch Holdings.
Easdale looked uneasy and hesitant throughout the interview, especially when the name of Chris Morgan was brought up, a former business partner of Charles Green.
Morgan and Green have been involved with Rafat Rizvi at Nova Securities, Rizvi is amongst Interpol’s most wanted fugitives following the collapse of a bank in Indonesia and was discussed in a conversation with Green released on twitter by Charlotte Fakes.

Sadly what will happen is… nothing. There will be no administration as the powers that be will ensure it doesn’t. There can be all the evidence in the world (which tbere is) and nothing will happen. Walter Smith is ibrox through and through and was the only decent man there he walked away because there were too many crooks on the board and he knows what is coming to them for what they have done to Scottish football.
