DeilaRonny Deila wants to see his Celtic side kick on in the final stretch of the season.

Sunday’s League Cup Final win gives the hoops the chance to go for their first treble since 2001.

Two home wins over Dundee United will go a long way to deciding Celtic’s fate with Deila wanting to see an extra dimension from his side now that they have bagged some silverware.

“We want to build on what we are good at – and do it even better,” he stated ahead of tonight’s Scottish Cup replay.

“I’m not into surprising opponents, rather, I want them to fear us for what we have. They know what’s coming, but don’t know how to handle it. That’s the goal in future.”

Preparing his side for to face Dundee United for the third time in ten days the Celtic boss added: “We know it will be another tough game, but, we will really be up for it.

“There is not much recovery time, but it is the same for both sides – and it’s much better when you win than when you lose, I’m sure United will be wanting revenge for Sunday so we have to be up to the level we were in the final, and maybe better.

“This is not just a normal game. It’s a Scottish Cup quarter-final.”

Deila’s big selection decision is over who replaces Stefan Johansen in midfield with the Norwegian suspended after being booked in the first match between the sides.
