Charles Green hospitalImran Ahmad has delivered an incredible indictment on Scottish justice- claiming that Police Scotland are emotionally attached to Rangers- a club built on centuries of religious bigotry.

Mr Ahmad was one of the founding fathers of Sevco in 2012, joining forces with Charles Green, and used his mother bank account for Craig Whyte to make payments into.

Mr Green and Mr Whyte have already been charged relating to the events of 2012 with Mr Ahmad vowing to stay out of the UK until the trial is concluded.

In an email published by the BBC he said: “A few days ago, the Crown reneged on their promise to provide me with a safe passage letter.

“My legal team and I have grave concerns about a defendant in this case being able to receive a fair trial anywhere in Scotland let alone Glasgow.

“Every social media site in Scotland has presumed all the defendants to be guilty before a trial has even taken place or for that matter before individuals have even been indicted.”

He added: “What the rest of the world will never understand unless they experience it first hand is that Rangers Football Club is a religion, in itself, built on centuries of religious bigotry.

“I firmly believe Police Scotland have their own agenda and are deeply emotionally connected to Rangers Football Club. In my view Police Scotland have a clear conflict of interest.”

Mr Ahmad stepped down as financial executive in April 2013 after it was alleged that he was posting confidential information about the club on social media under the user-name ‘Iamrangers’.

In September 2014 he accepted an out of court settlement from the club in respect of the commercial deals that he set up which included contracts with Dry Blackthorn Cider, Puma and Sports Direct.
