Dave King Under fire Sevco finance guru Stewart Robertson has warned bloggers that he’ll keep an eye on what they publish!

Robbo, was was unemployed after leaving Motherwell earlier this year, put out a statement on the club website as a growing number of court actions look set to plunge the three year old club into administration before Christmas.

Charles Green and Mike Ashley have got court cases in the next five weeks which will be ‘robustly defended’ (and costly) with the club hoping to host an AGM on November 27.

Last week the audited accounts published a going concern warning that £2.5m was needed before the end of the season with some of that cash needed in December. As an accountant Mr Robertson will know that the going concern warning is to do with future funding, not the mistakes of the previous boards.

Providing internet bampots with the oxygen of publicity on the club website Robbo stormed: “Personally, I would rather not give these guys the airtime or the oxygen. Different people have different views, and we need to be careful – we only have so much time and there are a lot of things we are trying to improve.

When these guys say things, you can disregard it, but there may come a time depending on what they actually say that we may need to act, but we’ll keep an eye on it, but we have much more important things to do than worry about online bloggers.”

Responding to rumours that the ice cream and jelly season is just around the corner the former Fir Park high flyer added: “The club put a statement out last week, and Dave King and the Three Bears said that they will continue to fund the club going forward.

Due to the various court proceedings that are going on at the moment, the (share) listing is not possible at the current time. I met with the guys personally last week, and they are 100% behind the club and I have absolute confidence that they are there to fund the club going forward.”

For the avoidance of doubt Robbo, your company chairman was described by a South African judge as a glib and shameless liar. Sports Direct can plunge the club into administration by demanding repayment of their £5m loan but Mr Ashley will stand back and let Mr King press the administration button

If Robbo is reading the bloggers then he is getting information that nobody else in the Club will tell him about .
    Scary reading Robbo.
Certainly he will not believe GASL.
    Right Robbo

I like every one else in this country pay my taxes to the Taxman. I don’t like doing it but I have to, to pay for hospitals, schools etc for my family. I’m not in a great job and I don’t earn more than 25 grand a year but I still pay my way, if i didn’t I would be jailed its as simple as that. Rangers players who were earning hundreds of thousands over many years at the club in Scotland did not pay their taxes as they were “in a scheme”, and they still haven’t, well for me that is theft plain and simple. As this is indeed the case they should suffer the same fate as any one else guilty of fraud and should be fined and jailed for immoral fraud against Queen and country. No sectarianism or paranoia evident here just simple facts. Enough said.

So this ridiculous persons statement basically reads

“I will not talk about the people I’m talking about because they are talking about us and you should not talk about people who talk about you because it will just give them something to talk about and I will not talk about those that talk or whatever it is they talk about despite me currently talking about those that talk about us”

The inept practice’s and thus the mirthful hilarity continues.

Onwards, onwards Sevconians, marching towards the utopia of administration.

  • Sakhalin Bhoy says:

Once again the PR machine from Ibrox goes into overdrive……these past few months it has either been total silence…..or a complete spin to put a positive view on things….

How the hell DCK is going to shake of the shackles of MA / Sports Direct I’ll never know…..

I can imagine me taking a bank loan……agreeing the payment dates and costs….THEN….saying ‘Let’s have a vote and rescind these payments”………

I even heard a deluded Sevco fan on one of the radio stations ‘suggesting’ that it was all smoke and mirrors and that he ‘knew’…100% DCK and the 3 bears are READY to make a massive investment…BUT…..and there’s ALWAYS a BUT……….BUT…..only when the tax issue and MA have been cleared up….

Ehh….don’t you mean when the club is liquidated AGAIN…(can that happen? )…….if MA calls in his £5m…..they are goosed……they need £2.5m to keep the lights on….a suggested £10-15m to upgrade the stadium……to make it SAFE……..and the man with the magic hat is declaring if he sees a £1m player…..he will ask the board for financial support…
Once again our media folk turn the other way when a story of any magnitude arises from within Mordar………

As much as it irks me……I can honestly see the SPFL / SFL / SFA brushing all of this under the carpet……citing it was the OLD COMPANY that were the bad boys…..NOT the shiny new company……oh yes..SAME CLUB…..different company…..so we CANNOT take any action so, run along…nothing more to see here….

I worked in Russia for years….I was led to believe that it was branded one of the most corrupt nations in the world……..ehhh…..NAW…..our wee fitba establishment takes a LOTTA BEATING

  • JimBhoy says:

Half season ticket link – Fantastic, I was gonna hold off a couple of months for a quarter season ticket…..

Is it me or are there a lot of veiled threats coming the sevconian hoardes, well except big DJ who hasn’t got the brain power to issue anything but a direct ignorant thug like threat.

I don’t give a toss about what happens to Rangers (IL) I just hope those who have done Lizzy out of her blue pound get made to payback and those who have made a career out of fleecing shareholders also get whats coming.

  • The Accountant says:

If I were a Sevco fan I would be both worried and annoyed at this rubbish from the CEO

If he doesn’t know that going concern is about the next 12 months and not the last 12 months he is a total imposter

And if he does know and persists in spouting this nonsense then he is taking the mickey

  • joe mccormack says:

One would think that given the number of court cases pending Mr Robertson and his club could do without any others……see you in court ya Internet bam…….aye right, come ahead if your brave enough.

WRT to Resolution 12 I don’t understand why Lawwell is not taking the fight to the SFA.

They know they are toast, to continue with the nothing to see here, everything tickets boo around the 2011 Euro licence would just make them even more culpable when the truth outs.

For me this is one of the most damning aspects of this circus.

This is not a simple admin error, it’s not a discussion about evasion or avoidance.

A grand fraud has been perpetrated and has potentially cost Celtic FC millions of pounds.

Lawwell ‘ s next move should be to call in Police Scotland.

It’s clear that Whyte explained in great detail to the SFA the impact of what no money from European competition would mean to the club…….an admin event some months before Whyte eventually pulled the plug. By that time the DOS tax bill had been submitted to Rangers.

So everyone was in the loop.

Now there are only a few possibilities as to what happened next!

    1. Rangers application confirmed that they had no tax liability outstanding…….they lied, pure and
    simple.

    2. The SFA employee signing off on the application did zero due diligence despite being fully aware of the DOS bill.

Police Scotland should take about 5 minutes to get the answers.

The courts take a harsh view of fraud, particularly where millions of pounds is involved. There must be a number of people out there who will not be looking forward to Whyte pushing the Play button on his tape recorder.

One thing’s for sure that when the dust settles after the court cases the issues that we are facing just now, EBT, illegal registrations, potential fraud, will pale into insignificance.

The sh*t is about to hit the fan and the apologists for Rangers will look very, very silly people.

  • Monti says:

You have to laugh at the Zombies like, when Celtic were in financial trouble what did we do?
We paid all the bills, all the creditors and over subscribed two or three share issues.
What do Zombies do? Check what Internet bampots are saying about them on forums????WTF?

  • drawkcab says:

  • BILLY says:

Well written monti who is this pr@ck? Give us the stolen titles back and tell yer zombie employers to visit every SPL club and beg for forgiveness cheating bast£rds,,,HAIL HAIL

  • joe mccormack says:

    The smoking gun

    The elephant in the room

    The silver bullet

The story that will silence the Rangers apologists in their tracks…..

The answer to Resolution 12, an answer that could see Scottish football banished from UEFA competitions for years.

When UEFA is confronted with a club who have knowingly made a false licence application they will not be very pleased to say the least.

That the application was signed off by the country’s football authorities will provoke them even more.

UEFA will not only punish the club but sanctions will follow for the SFA, sanctions that may result in Scottish club’s being banned from Europe for a number of years. Sanctions may also be applied against the national team.

Even the fiercest apologists will know the game is truly up at this stage.

Can you imagine Bryson giving his interpretation of events to UEFA…….because we accepted the application in good faith at the time, then the licence remained valid till such time as it was found to not to be valid…..no retrospective punishments of course, Scottish football just doesn’t do them.

UEFA move to punish the club………10 year ban at the very least seems appropriate.

Club…..aw hang on mate, you can’t hang that one on us, that was the old club!

UEFA…….but you claim to be the same club?

    Club……..ah but………

  • joe mccormack says:

Robertson would be better concentrating on the PR spin daily offending the sensibility of those still buying the red tops.

Yesterday Warbs, we were told, would be looking for £1m plus from the board if a particular player fitted the bill.

Today he might be selling one of his recently acquired journeymen if the price was right!

Ffs……..this is complete drivel. Articles printed without a single question asked about the content, not one.

The club is limping along on soft loans. At any time Ashley can pull the plug by recalling his £5m……..gift, as DJ would call it.

Big Mike has the power to ???? Murray Park, Albion Car Park and Edmiston House…….what then?
