Warburton MarkFurious Mark Warburton lost his cool after he was questioned about the manager’s vacancy at Fulham.

The former city trader, whose family still live in London, has refused to rule out quitting Ibrox to take over from Kit Symons as Fulham boss.

A clear commitment to staying on at Sevco would kill the subject stone dead but despite being given that opportunity Warbo has refused to shoot the story down.

Turning to one of his favour words, respectfully, he stated: “I can’t keep answering questions, very respectfully.

I think I need some respect. I’ve answered the question. It’s disrespect to me, Rangers and Fulham, who I’m sure handle things in the right way.

I’m Rangers manager, I’ve brought staff in and developed a squad here. I’m in the middle of a project. It’s disrespectful. I can’t keep answering the same question.”

It’s understood that Warbo was devastated when the club was unable to offer John Eustace a contract despite the player impressing during a four month trial.

In August despite making three bids for Scott Allan the player signed for Celtic despite an extensive campaign from within Ibrox to sign the player.

Last month the club’s audited accounts carried a going concern notice warning that £2.5m is needed to complete the season.

With no sign of Dave King’s promised over-investment it’s believed that Fulham are prepared to wait until January to reunite the former city banker with his home town.

Warburton’s salary is believed to be around one third of what Ally McCoist was on and similar to the salary of Kenny McDowall, who is on gardening leaven.

Last night’s match at home to Dumbarton was allowed to continue despite hundreds of fans being evacuated from an area of the ground as part of the roof on the Sandy Jardine stand collapsed.

The Eustace comment always gives me a giggle.. I wonder if Warbs ex-City wizz-kid now sees the writing on the wall regards recent AGM fails.

I also think the Glibster will get out of dodge before he meets big Mhick in court..
