Former Celtic keeper Rab Douglas hasn’t lost any of his reflexes as followers of his twitter account will testify.
Douglas joined Celtic in 2000 and enjoyed five roller-coaster years as Martin O’Neill’s side dominated Scottish football pushing Dave Murray into the suicidal EBT scheme that led to the football club going into liquidation.
As a native of Lanark Douglas supported Motherwell as a youth with one of his fondest memories watching Tommy McLean’s side win the 1991 Scottish Cup Final at Hampden.
Claims that the non-holy goalie was a fan of Rangers (IL) have kept the deluded amused down the years with the myth following the keeper on holiday to Tenerife.

In 2012 when Rangers stopped paying their bills a local face painter was among the 276 victims left high and dry.
Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs were the biggest creditor but the demise of the Govan institution hurt many in the local communities covering Ibrox and Murray Park.

Magician Alan Duncan was owed £3,200 when the old club disappeared and welcomed the claim a year ago by South African based criminal Dave King that he would take the old club out of liquidation.
In September 2015 Duncan told the Daily Record: “I am owed £3200 but it isn’t just the money, it was the contract as well, which was worth a lot.
“I built up their family section into the best of its kind in Scotland and they kicked me in the teeth.”
“If Dave King is going to bring back the old club, I would say, ‘Give me my money’.
“I have had no contact with them since they went into liquidation and haven’t received a single penny.”
