Celtic fans are split down the middle over the likely sale of Jozo Simunovi to Torino.
The defender arrived injured at Celtic 12 months ago and looks set to depart in similar condition in one of the strangest transfers of recent times.
Inbetween times Simunovic has started just 11 SPFL and played in four of last season’s disastrous Europa League matches.
His last appearance was against St Johnstone on January 23 after which it was revealed that he’d played two matches with a broken bone in his knee.
Overnight it emerged that Simunovic was flying to Italy to complete a medical with few tears shed among Celtic supporters about his likely departure.

@videocelts as long as we re invest the money in the squad, if not we would be aswell keeping him

@videocelts Ridiculous to get rid of him when we have Boyata and Ambrose still on the books! Poor piece of business.

@videocelts Until midnight tomorrow it’s hard to say. In the minority here, but I think he looked OK.

@videocelts wasn’t impressed on rare occasions he was fit to play. Might turn out to be a player with run of games but I’d cut our losses
