Yesterday’s strike took his tally for the season to 15 split between 13 for Celtic and two for the French u-21 side.
In midweek Dembele will be carrying the main scoring burden for Celtic when they face Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League.
After scoring a double in the 3-3 draw with Manchester City the young Frenchman became known throughout the game.
Celtic have no intention of cashing in on their £500,000 summer signing with Brendan Rodgers keen to work with and develop his first recruit.
After the draw with Manchester City the Celtic boss said: We’re very fortunate to have Moussa. He was coveted by a number of teams before coming to us.
“He was terrific but he has been like that since he’s come in to the club.
“I thought he really bullied the back four of Manchester City but he’s more than that. He showed he has a wonderful touch and agility for third goal.”
