Lustig’s 12th minute injury was added to by the sight of Scott Brown being replaced on the hour mark with the hoops skipper picking up a thigh strain late in the first half.
Despite those injuries and changes to the system Celtic enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win thanks to second half goals from Scott Sinclair, Leigh Griffiths and Tom Rogic.
The win restored Celtic’s 10 point lead over Aberdeen and provided a measure of revenge for the early season draw at Inverness- the only blot on Celtic’s SPFL record.
