Watch highlights of Celtic 3-0 Inverness Caley Thistle

|

After four away matches in ten days Celtic returned home to enjoy a 3-0 win over Inverness Caley Thistle.

Second half goals from Scott Sinclair, Leigh Griffiths and Tom Rogic settled the issue and allowed the hoops to restore their 10 point advantage over Aberdeen at the top of the SPFL.

The result never seemed in any danger with the home defence recording their sixth consecutive clean sheet.

Brendan Rodgers decided to make four changes to the team that drew with Gladbach and switched his side towards a 3-5-2 formation with Emilio Izaguirre dropping out to accommodate the change.

The Honduran was back in action sooner than anticipated when an injury to Mikael Lustig required a shuffle that saw Stuart Armstrong drop into the right-back role- and pick up the man-of-the-match award.

Rodgers will now spend an anxious ten days keeping tabs on his squad away on international duty before his side are in action at Kilmarnock on November 18 with the chance to stretch the gap at the top to 13 points.
