John Kennedy has revealed the ‘secrets’ of Celtic’s success under Brendan Rodgers.
Working with largely the same group of players Rodgers has transformed a squad that lost two cup semi-finals into one that has drawn three matches in the Champions League, pickup up the the Betfred Cup and won 13 and drawn one of their 14 SPFL matches.
Kennedy worked under Ronny Deila for two years and is better placed than anyone to identify the differences between how the two managers operate.
JK: The squad, as a whole, has been vital. Players are able to come in and do a job for us. That’s been a real strength for us this season.

JK: New manager comes in with a fresh approach and new ideas which can revitalise some players which you’ve seen this season.

Rodgers will continue his quest for the SPFL title tomorrow night when Celtic take on Hamilton Accies looking to extend their lead at the top of the table to 11 points over Sevco.
The match is one of three that the hoops have outstanding due to their Betfred Cup fixtures and postponing their opening match in order to play in the Champions Cup.
Should they win tomorrow night and in their remaining matches until the winter break Rodgers’ side will be at least 17 points clear at the top of the table.
