Celtic fans have got mixed feelings about Ryan Christie’s possible loan move to Aberdeen.
The midfielder has only started three SPFL matches this season and seems certain to be much more involved if he goes to Pittodrie.
While some supporters are happy to see Christie go out to get regular football others believe that he deserves a first team run in Brendan Rodgers side.
Christie certainly has something to offer but with ferocious competition for places at Celtic a four month stint in the firing line at Aberdeen could be exactly what his career needs.
Celtic’s 21 point advantage over Aberdeen leaves the destination of the title almost redundant with Rodgers’ thoughts all geared towards preparing for Champions League qualifiers.
Christie finds himself in a similar position to Callum McGregor and Liam Henderson of having their career in a halfway house of being able to get regular football at all SPFL clubs but struggling to get more than half a dozen meaningful games a season at Celtic.
@videocelts @ryanchristie2 I’d like to see him playing more with us.

@videocelts Good move for the lad as long as he gets the game time.

@videocelts thought young Ryan was ‘bubbling under’ Joe.Talented kid but appreciate games would benefit him.Maybe Mcinnes knows Hayes is off

@videocelts would prefer him to stay as we’ll have the league wrapped up early &then BR could give younger 1s some games in 1st team

@videocelts @fultybhoy4 so so true and it would take a kid with mega talent and confidence to break into our team at the moment… ????????????????
