Brendan Rodgers has restated his determination to hold onto Craig Gordon.
The Celtic boss has refused to budge an inch despite speculation over his goalkeeper and pressure to sell the keeper to Chelsea.
Unless the English club come up with an offer close to £10m they’ll have to look elsewhere or hold onto Asmir Begovic.
Since last Wednesday when the story broke about Chelsea’s interest the subject has become the main item at Celtic’s media conferences.
Rodgers hasn’t wavered in his view- as the closing of the transfer window draws near it seems less and less likely that Gordon will be on his way to London.

BR: “I repeat, we don’t want to sell him. Between the club & his agent to find a new deal for him, which we believe we will do.” (MH)

Chelsea have been linked with a number of other keepers but it seems that Gordon is their first choice.
Begovic is valued at £12m but it seems that Antonio Conte is prepared to pay more than £4m for the Celtic and Scotland keeper.
Gordon is under contract with Celtic until June 2018.
