Kristoffer Ajer has revealed that he is onto his sixth manager in 18 months.

At the end of January the 18-year-old moved on loan to Kilmarnock as he stepped up his acclimitisation to Scottish football.

Lee Clark was delighted by the performances that the centre-half turned in but in midweek the former Newcastle midfielder resigned to join Bury.

It’s not an unusual situation for Ajer to deal with, a year ago Ronny Deila signed the teenager from Start but before he had moved to Celtic Deila had moved on with Brendan Rodgers taking charge.

Back in Norway the troubles at Start resulted in Mons Ivar Mjelde, Bård Borgersen and Steinar Pedersen being in charge at various points with all three confident enough to include Ajer I their side.

On Sunday Ajer faces his toughest challenge since moving to Kilmarnock when Aberdeen visit Rugby Park.

The Dons have won seven of their last eight matches with the 7-2 midweek win over Motherwell suggesting that Ajer will be severly tested by Adam Rooney and co.
