Easdale responds to King claim

Among the many porkies from Dave King in his round of interviews last week it wasn’t hard to destroy some of the tales spun to encourage season ticket sales.

Most importantly a claim that he is considering his options and ‘may appeal’ against the verdict of the Takeover Appeal Board can be dismissed.

The clue is in the name, the verdict was given by the Appeal board, an appeal that King declined to attend in person with the outcome scathing about the way the South African based criminal operates.

Unless he can discover a NOMAD prepared to be associated with him and £7m to underwrite the offer the toxic reputation of King and Sevco will plunge even further.

As he threw the quotes around last week the South Afican based criminal claimed that his regime had been praised by one of the Easdale brothers ousted by the March 2015 regime change.

Intrigued by the claim that a company with no NOMAD, a going concern warning in their last audited accounts and unaudited accounts that were quickly torn apart last week it seemed highly unlikely that King’s style of governance would be approved by Easdale.

Responding to that claim John James reports: “I checked. King ran in to James Easdale in the BA lounge at Glasgow Airport at the end of last season. James made a positive comment on a team performance; no more than that. King just cannot help lying through his back teeth to make himself look good.”

As the clock ticks down to his April 12 takeover deadline it looks unlikely that King will be jetting back anytime soon leaving the three bears to pick up the pieces of a two year corporate disaster.
