Celtic are expected to announce today that Craig Gordon has signed a new contract to stay with the champions until 2020.
Talks with the keeper, who is under contract until June 2018, started at the turn of the year and reached a conclusion at the end of last week.
Gordon has been in outstanding form this season and regained the faith of Brendan Rodgers following a brief spell on the bench following the signing of Dorus de Vries.
The 34-year-old was a transfer target for Chelsea during the January transfer window with two offers instantly dismissed.
Gordon joined Celtic in July 2014 and took over as first choice keeper following the sale of Fraser Forster to Southampton.
There was some speculation that he’d hold off signing a new contract to see if Chelsea came back in the summer but with his family settled the keeper is happy to commit the remainder of his career to playing for Celtic.
