The control that the BBC is under is once again highlighted on their website today.
Rob McLean, who also contributes strongly to Ladbrokes various promotions associated with the SPFL, is given a platform to discuss the major matters of the weekend.
What could they be? Bobby Madden’s refusal to award a penalty for a brutal foul on Leigh Griffiths or perhaps Kenny Miller’s horror lunge at Stuart Armstrong?
Neither.
McLean’s main talking points were about Sevco stopping Celtic’s treble bid and the man-of-the-match of Craig Gordon!
Not even a mention of Madden.
Within the BBC bubble they can censor all they like- every commercial broadcaster and publisher needs to follow the market and match their content to what customers are talking about.
With the state broadcaster they like to foster their agenda on the unfortunate licence payers.
Elsewhere in McLean’s column you can enjoy lively talking points such as Caley Thistle snatching a point from Firhill, things being tame at Tannadice (rich coming from the BBC) and a touch of class from Efe Ambrose!
During their five minutes of match highlights the BBC failed to show Miller’s two footed lunge at Armstrong.
