As a paid employee of the Daily Record, BT Sport and others he gets accused of being obsessed for expressing his opinion on matters at Ibrox.
The notion of non partisan coverage of events at Ibrox seems alien to the bulk of their support who are used to sycophants whose idea of criticism is to suggest that the clubs may have to wait until next season to be successful.

Back in September Sutton got panned for suggesting that one dimensional Mark Warburton was as out of his depth as Ronny Deila at Celtic.
