Barry Ferguson, John Brown have all been snubbed after Sevco appointed Jonatan Johansson to the highly influential position of number three to Brother Pedro.

The Finnish born coach played less than 50 matches for the old club under Walter Smith and Dick Advocaat but has been picked ahead of three local legends to bring a Real Rangers element to the club.

Ferguson and Rae have recently voiced mild criticism of Brother Pedro and are likely to struggle to contain their person disappointment across their various media platforms.

Johansson has been the assistant coach to the Finland international team and had a coaching stint with Motherwell’s Development League under Stuart McCall.

In 2000 the winger left Ibrox for Charlton where he enjoyed a degree of success before winding his career down with spells at Hibs and St Johnstone.

Finland are second bottom of World Cup Group I with just one point from five matches with their only point coming from a home draw with Kosovo.
