Joey Garner was again the target of social media anger after his latest attempt at playing the hard-man.
Fresh from laughing in the face of Dougie Imrie following a waist high lunge at the Hamilton defender the £1.8m striker set out to needle Aberdeen from the first whistle today.
Late, dangerous challenges, or cowardly as Richard Gordon on Radio Scotland put it, are his trademark as he attempts to injure opponents or get them sent off.
In the early minutes of today’s match at Aberdeen Garner raced to square up to Ryan Jack with the two players going face to face.
Garner then decided to hit the deck as if assaulted giving players on both teams the chance to join in a pushing contest.

Predictably Jack got the same punishment as the instigator with the incident upsetting Aberdeen’s impressive start to the match.
Garner was substituted midway through the second half as the visitors went on to win 3-0 confirming Brother Pedro as a coaching genius.
With Clancy deciding that the yellow card was sufficient punishment for the incident with Jack it’s unlikely that the SFA will take any further action against the former Preston striker.
