After a midweek stumble against Partick Thistle Celtic looked more like their true selves in the 3-1 win over Kilmarnock- taking their points total onto 90.

Stuart Armstrong opened the scoring and although Kilmarnock equalised early in the second half Celtic responded with goals from Scott Sinclair and James Forrest to secure full points.

There was a well deserved bow from the players at the end of the match with the supporters savouring the sunshine and Brendan Rodgers decision to sign a four year contract at the club.

Adding to the feel good factor was the appearances of Tom Rogic and Moussa Dembele with both players now having a full week to prepare for the final pre-slit fixture away to Ross County.

Rodgers will be looking to have close to a full strength side out in Dingwall ahead of the back-to-back clashes with Sevco that will go a long way to defining the season.
