Robertson’s reactions

As if his performance wasn’t bad enough yesterday Don Robertson is now being reminded of another horror show- Celtic’s 2-0 win over Motherwell in February.

Late in the match Kieran Tierney prepared to control a high pass out close to the bye-line.

Out of nowhere Ryan Bowman came on the scene with a late and dangerous attack on the Celtic players knee.

Robertson wondered over to the scene, he appeared to be showing more sympathy to Bowman that concern for the Scotland left back then reluctantly produced a yellow card while Tierney lay in a heap on the deck.

Yesterday the same referee acted completely differently.

Scott Brown’s foul on Liam Boyce had the referee racing for his red card, some might say he couldn’t get it out quickly enough.

Numerous Ross County players piled in,arms were raised, Brown was man handled and pushed to the ground. One of Robertson’s assistants came on to the pitch to try and restore control. Only Andrew Davies was booked for the gang attack on Brown.

When he phones up Brendan Rodgers perhaps Robertson can explain the different way in which he dealt with the fouls by Bowman and Brown.
