Will Vaulks has ruled out a move to Sevco to stay on at newly relegated Rotherham.

Rather than star in Pedro Caixinha’s thrilling Europa League run the former Falkirk midfielder will try and help the Yorkshire to promotion out of League One.

Last month a selective leak out of Ibrox hinted that Vaulks could be the subject of a £400,000 bid to return to Scotland.

“Even if there is interest from other clubs, I feel there is massive unfinished business for me with Rotherham,” STV report Vaulks saying.

“I can’t leave on a season like that, even if the option is there. It’s Rotherham United for me next season. I can’t see me being anywhere else. I don’t know if the Rangers interest is real or not. Speculation takes off quickly.”

This morning the Sevco marquee signing is Ben Heneghan.

Motherwell signed the defender from non-league Chester last summer and he has apparently impressed despite the Fir Park side being in the centre of the relegation dogfight.

According to reports in various newspapers Motherwell value Heneghan at £500,000 which will be enough to scare off Sevco and deny the 23-year-old a dream move to play alongside Danny Wilson.

Pedro Caixinha has told Sevco’s TV service that he has lined up a number of new signings ready for the new season which starts on June 29 with a Europa League qualifier despite a number of failings with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations.
