Sevco new boy Fabio Cardoso has overdosed on the season ticket PR hype.

As well as claiming that Sevco are the best club in Scotland he also believes that they have the most trophies in the world.

Since formation by Charles Green in 2012 Sevco have won three lower league titles and the 2016 Petrofac Cup. During the same period St Johnstone, Inverness Caley Thistle and Ross County have won more meaningful trophies.

Cardoso is the third Portuguese player to join up at Ibrox this month keeping top agent Pedro Mendes busy.

Speaking to the club website the 23-year-old said: “For me, this is the best club in Scotland and I will do my best to help us make history together.

This is a big step in my career and it has always been a dream for me to play here in the UK. The people are very passionate about their football and it is the best atmosphere to play football in and I will do my best.

Of course, I have to adapt myself to the new country and to the new way of living. I think I am going to be successful though.

I will do my best to help me and my teammates win. A club as big as Rangers has to win.”

He added: “Rangers is the biggest and the most successful club in Scotland and the club with the most trophies in the world.”

In the other end of the transfer market there hasn’t been any bids made for the players that Caixinha is looking to move on.

Only Clint Hill and Pip Senderos have moved on with the wage of Bruno Alves believed to be close to the combined figure that Hill and Senderos were picking up.

Company chairman Dave King has still to respond to the demand from the Takeover Appeal Board that he offers to buy up the shares that are held outside of his concert party, that action was followed up by a demand from the Court of Session in Edinburgh.
