New Balance will confirm the new look green and green Celtic away kit later today.
Social media went into meltdown over the weekend as a very convincing image of the strip surfaced and was met with almost universal approval.
Consisting of light green and dark green hoops with the Lisbon 50th anniversary logo in gold the new strip promises to sell in similar numbers to the ‘home’ kit which was released for the Scottish Cup Final win over Aberdeen.

The new look green and green kit replaces the all black kit which Celtic wore in the Champions League away matches against Borussia Monchengladbach and Manchester City.
With the backing of New Balance the kit will be available worldwide and is certain to be popular with fans heading off on holiday.
After criticism from fans a few years ago that kits were changing too frequently it now seems to be accepted and indeed expected that three new kits are released each summer.
