In amongst the saturation coverage of the General Election across multiple channels there was still time for Celtic to feature.
With counting for the Glasgow constituencies taking place at the Emirates Arena the Glasgow MP’s were being declared in the shadow of Walfrid, Stein and McNeill.

The location certainly made an impression on a Sky News correspondent who couldn’t hide his joy as he explained to viewers that he was across the road from ‘the home of the mighty Celtic’.
In Glasgow the SNP retained six of the seven Westminster seats with Labour clawing one back in Glasgow East.
It was a close call across the city with the SNP returning on majorities of less than 100 votes in two seats.
With the UK result returning a hung parliament SNP will play a crucial role as the third biggest party in Westminster as Theresa May this morning tries to cobble together a minority government.
