Sevco flop Josh Windass is wanted by Fleetwood, MK Dons and Peterborough according to a report in The Sun.

Whether any of that illustrious trio can match his Ibrox contract which runs until 2020 remains to be seen.

Twelve months ago the signing of Windass was being hailed as a master stroke by Mark Warburton as he launched the #goingfor55 campaign with an array of waifs and strays brought in from the depths of English football.

As Celtic turned the screw Warbo’s master-plan was cruelly exposed with the former city trader forced out in February.

Matt Crooks, signed at the same time as Windass from Accrington Stanley, was sent on loan to Scunthorpe as the season collapsed.

Sevco finished in third place 39 points behind Celtic who knocked them out of both cup competitions.

Now Caixinha faces the difficult decision of trying to shift last season’s flops in order to make way for his own stars signed mainly from Portugal and Mexico.
