Jozo Simunovic has made a nervous singing debut for Bosnia.

The former Croatian u-21 internationalist is in line to make his debut for Bosnia against Cyprus tomorrow in a World Cup qualifier.

As a newcomer he was obliged to introduce himself to the squad and chose to sing “My Life is Switzerland’ by Dina Merlin.

The good news for Celtic is that the defender appears to be fit for tomorrow’s match in Nicosia despite missing out on his last three club appearances.

Two of those games were on artificial surfaces with Celtic’s next match on the plastic pitch at Hamilton Accies.

Over the last fortnight there has been speculation that Simunovic could be on the move with Burnley and Spartak Moscow both linked with a move for the defender.

With Dedryck Boyata and Erik Sviatchenko both out injured Brendan Rodgers’ has very limited defensive options which should rule out any prospect of the Bosnian being on the move.

Bosnia are currently in third place in Group H, one point behind Greece and five behind Belgium.
