Conor McGregor has tweeted his support for Celtic and the Green Brigade.
Less than a fortnight before his fight with Floyd Mayweather the UFC legend couldn’t fail to notice how Celtic’s 5-0 win over Astana had swamped social media.

While Brendan Rodgers and his team rightly drew plenty of praise the return of the Green Brigade also figured highly.
A constant stream of songs bellowed out from Section 111 with the entire stadium joining in as close to 60,000 fans urged their team on towards the group stage of the Champions League.
On television Gary Lineker and Steven Gerrard led the praise of the display showing a level of enthusiasm that just isn’t present when they are covering English clubs.
McGregor isn’t short of backing among the Celtic support as he carries his Irishness as a badge of honour into the most lucrative boxing bout in history which is expected to earn him a very cool $100m.
