A goal is essential tonight but having kept a clean sheet in the home leg any scoring draw will be good enough to take Celtic through.
The omission of Griffiths is the biggest surprise in the Celtic XI with the striker out of action since the 2-0 win away to Linfield on July 14.
Last season the former Hibs striker played a key role in the qualification for the play off round with goals home and away against Astana.
