UEFA have appointed Daniele Orsato for the re-match of Mikael Lustig v Neymar- ten months after he took charge of Celtic’s 2-0 defeat from Barcelona.
The Italian referee should know his way around Celtic Park when he takes to the field on Tuesday night for the visit of Paris St Germain.
Orsato is in his sixth season refereeing Champions League matches, handling five matches last season including the Dortmund v Monaco quarter final that was delayed a day after an attack on the Dortmund coach.
Six players were booked in the Celtic v Barcelona match with Lustig and Neymar clashing midway through the second half.
The Celtic defender picked up a booking for his contribution with Neymar heavily booed when he was substituted in the 77th minute.
While the relationship between Neymar and Lustig isn’t the most cordial Celtic and Paris St Germain recently agreed to a loan deal for Odsonne Edouard who is available for selection on Tuesday night.
