Leigh Griffiths is fit and ready to face Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday night.

The Celtic striker sat out Friday’s 4-1 win over Hamilton Accies after picking up a calf injury on Scotland duty.

Griffiths has suffered a number of muscle related injuries over the last 18 months and sat out the start of last season’s Champions League due to a hamstring injury.

The striker showed his value in the Play Off matches against Astana and can’t wait to pick up on that form against PSG and their £400m strike force.

I did a bit of running on Saturday and then trained today, so it’s all good,” he told The Sun yesterday.

It won’t be easy. You see the PSG front line and how much it cost. That says it all but at Celtic Park on a European night, anything is possible.

We are going to make it very difficult for them but we also know how tough it will be to stop them.

We need to play without fear. If we go into this game fearing the worst, then worst will happen.

If you go into this game thinking we are going to do everything we can to get a result, then who knows — we might get something from it.”

Despite the impressive debut of Odsonne Edouard at Hamilton the young Frenchman will be on the bench for the visit of his parent club.

By the end of the month Moussa Dembele should be available again giving Brendan Rodgers three strong options for the one striking role.

Rodgers’ has already decided on his team to face PSG with the main area of interest in defence where he has to decide on who will line up alongside Jozo Simunovic.
