More leaks pouring out

Attempts at news management by leaks has continued this afternoon with Peter Lawwell the chief target.

Last week a five year old letter from the Celtic chief executive appeared in The Times with Celtic then contacting the SFA to produce all of the related correspondence.

Regan went on a ‘charm offensive’ on Monday following the release of the letters in a bid to isolate Celtic and Lawwell.

There are no SFA rules about how many clubs are required to vote for an investigation before it is ordered with Regan’s round of media interviews exposing more of the details that he would rather cover up.

This morning the leeks continued with the Daily Record claiming that SPFL board members were furious over the title of the letter sent from Neil Doncaster to Regan requesting an independent review.

‘Unbelievably’ The Sun has now managed to get it’s hands on further correspondence from Ibrox!

Just before 3pm today the online edition of The Sun claimed: “Doncaster’s correspondence also prompted Gers bosses to send their own letter to Regan making it clear they were “angry and upset” that Doncaster had made their club the focus of attention.

In the letter – which was also sent to Doncaster – Rangers went on to ask Regan why “certain individuals” appear to have so much influence over Scottish football and questioned the governance of the game.”

That suggestion is a sop straight to the deluded who still believe that their club isn’t being liquidated and that they are the innocent victims of a bizarre alliance between Glasgow City Council, The Vatican, HMRC and the Co-Op bank masterminded by their bogeyman at Celtic Park.

Celtic haven’t commented since publishing their correspondence on September 9. With no sign of Regan replying to their request it looks like the matter will be taken to UEFA or CAS.
