Hibs and the SPFL have been slaughtered on social media over 10,000 empty seats at Hampden.
News emerged this morning that the Edinburgh side had only sold half of their tickets with no possibility of additional briefs being made available to Celtic.
With 50,000 season ticket holders Celtic could easily have sold more than the 20,000 tickets they were allocated.
Shockin, motherwell didnt only sold their tickets from South stand and east section by section, hibs should have been told to do the same! ????

Motherwell guy on radio explained they sold from North stand round so that excess tickets could be given to Rangers, why did Hibs not do same

So the SPFL asked Motherwell to sell their tickets block by block!! Eh why didn’t the sane conversation happen with Hibs??

Why not? If Hibs can’t fill their allocation, let others buy tickets. Would more Celtic fans in attendance make any difference to the score?

Why did Hibs get so many tickets that they couldn’t sell? These should have gone to Celtic. Sort it out. Shambles so it is.

disgrace. Have hibs been made to pay for the remaining missing 10000 tickets?

On the park there was little to worry Celtic once Mikael Lustig had put them two goals in front at the interval.
A very generous penalty early in the second half handed Hibs a lifeline which Anthony Stokes converted but Celtic restored their two goal advantage through substitute Moussa Dembele.
In the end Celtic ran out 4-2 winners to book their place in next month’s final.
If Sevco see off Motherwell the tickets will be split 50-50 but if Motherwell are successful at Hampden Celtic can expect an allocation of around 35,000 for the final.
