Andrew Dallas will referee Saturday’s match between Celtic and Dundee.

The Lanarkshire based referee had a nightmare in the recent Hamilton v Sevco match but that seems unlikely to impact on the matches that he is appointed to.

Carlos Pena could have been red carded for an early attack on Dougie Imrie, Dallas then missed a clear elbow on Greg Docherty before hesitating to disallow an effort from the Mexican when he used his arm to put the ball in the net.

Showing a strange sort of consistency Dallas decided against punishing Alex Gogic when he deliberately fouled Jason Holt, deciding that a penalty was enough punishment.

In his only previous Celtic match this season Dallas was in charge of the 1-0 win away to Partick Thistle in August.

Don Robertson, best remembered for the Alex Shalk dive at Ross County last season, will referee Friday’s match between St Johnstone and Sevco.
