A Sevco fan has set up a ‘Go Fund Me’ page to try and get Celtic fans moved out of the Broomloan Road stand on matchdays.

After discussions on message boards Gary The Bear has set a target of £770 for no other reason than to ‘just do something’.

Watching jubilant Celtic fans celebrating at Ibrox three times within a year has proved too much for many fans who didn’t expect that sort of outcome after climbing their way into the top flight.

Various reasons have been put forward to reduce Celtic’s 7,000 ticket allocation which is agreed between the two clubs and Police Scotland who look at away fan access at both of the city stadiums.

As one contributor to the page put it ‘The logic here smacks of desperation to gather ANY ‘High Ground’ by any means possible. Pathetic? Maybe?….But this is the right of the Rangers Fans, I respect that, no! Really I do.’

The funding is to get full access to survey monkey and print off leaflets for supporters but the end game seems to create an outlet to be angry at.

With a ‘bears friendly’ board in place, fans group Club 1872 and a Supporters Liaison Officer there are already plenty of outlets for supporters to connect with and lobby the club.

In the highly unlikely event of getting Celtic fans banned it’s unclear whether there is an appetite among home fans to pay £50 to watch the next exhibition from Brendan Rodgers side.
