Danny Makkelie will referee Celtic’s Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.
The Dutchman has already taken charge of some high profile matches this season including Germany’s win over Northern Ireland earlier this month and Liverpool’s Champions League draw with Seville at Anfield.
Makkelie is in his third season taking charge of Champions League group matches but has been refereeing international matches since 2011.
With Bayern three points ahead of Celtic the match will be critical to who goes through from Group B.
A win for the Germans and a victory for PSG over Anderlecht will put both sides through to the knock out phase leaving Celtic and Anderlecht to battle it out for the Europa League place.
Yesterday Bayern continued with their improved form under Jupp Heynckes by beating RB Leipzig 2-0 in the Allianz Arena to move into top spot in the Bundesliga with 23 points from their first ten matches.
