Chris Sutton wasn’t surprised by the decision of Sevco to sack Pedro Caixinha.
Around 3pm today word leaked out that the fifth best coach in Qatar had been axed from his Ibrox mission.
From early on his reign Sutton took Caixinha to task especially with his claim that he had the best squad in Scotland.

There was barely a highlight in Caixinha’s seven month reign- unless you were a fan of Celtic, Aberdeen, Hibs, Motherwell or Progres Niederkorn.
The former Ibrox boss played to the gallery throughout his reign with the ban on green football boots one of many ridiculous decisions. Painting We Are The People onto the insides of Ibrox was another decision that defied logic.
Sutton took plenty of stick for criticising the former Santos Laguna boss but as he proved previously with his opinions on Ronny Deila and Mark Warburton the BT Sport pundit called it right with Sevco now looking for the fifth manager since their formation in 2012.
