Mikael Lustig didn’t hold back as he celebrated Sweden’s World Cup success over Italy last night.
As the final whistle blew following five minutes of stoppage time in the San Siro the Celtic defender sprinted the length of the park to join in the celebrations of the travelling support.
After the Italian fans had booed and jeered the Swedish anthem Lustig had some choice words for the home supporters.
Just when you thought he couldn’t get any crazier ???????????? pic.twitter.com/JQVtG9XEhe

So I say Thank You Mikael Lustig, this song we’re singing,
Thanks for all, the joy you’re bringing,
Who could live without you, I ask in all honesty,
What would life be, without a goal and a dance from our Swede,
So I say Thank You Mikael Lustig,
For winning us all Three.— Celtic Underground (@celticrumours) November 14, 2017
People saying a World Cup without Buffon will be weird but a World Cup without Lustig would have been unimaginable ????

Lustig’s run was captured by television cameras with the celebrations continuing on social media as the magnitude of the result set in.
The Swede’s were one of the few nations to exit the 2016 European Championships at the first round and also had to deal with the blow of Zlatan Ibrahimovic retiring from international football.
Despite that they finished above Holland as runners up to France in their 2018 qualifying group but appeared to get the short straw when the Play Off draw paired them with Italy.
A 1-0 win in Stockholm edged them ahead with Lustig and his defensive team-mates doing enough to stand firm in Milan to make it through to next month’s World Cup Finals draw.
