The mindset of a Sevco shareholder

The mindset of the Sevco support was brilliantly captured by one question at today’s AGM.

Despite dozens of pressing questions about on-going losses, the Court of Session verdict on the Takeover Appeal Board, the lack of a manager and dire performances on the park there was one burning question that had to be asked.

It’s believed that King didn’t answer that question.

Although the club now boast Declan’s Aiden’s and Liam’s on their payroll the old attitudes are very much present as their song book confirms.

While the SFA were forced by UEFA to ban singing of the Billy Boys in 2006 it has been reintroduced over the last 18 months without a word said by the club, the SFA or the SPFL..

King claims to be the son of a Castlemilk policeman but as a South African judge noted unless proof is provided it’s best to disregard almost everything that the Sevco chief has to say.

With virtually nothing of any substance discussed or announced at the AGM the main focus of the club is to await the Couty of Session ruling on the Takeover Appeal Board’s decision that King is obliged to make an offer of 20p per share to remaining shareholders.
