Brendan Rodgers was in top form last night as he amused Irish Celtic fans at a Q and A with Eamonn Holmes to promote his charity book.

One day on from the Champions League thriller against Bayern Munich Rodgers was back on home soil discussing his route to Celtic Park and his ambitions for the club.

The display against Bayern Munich focussed supporters thoughts on European matters and an extended run in the Europa League but domestic success is the bread and butter of the club.

With a 62 match unbeaten domestic record created Celtic are on course for a seventh successive title and getting ever closer to the magical ten.

Shortly after clinching last season’s title at Tynecastle Rodgers signed a new four year contract but that commitment has since been improved on by Kieran Tierney.

The man from Carnlough and the bhoy from Wishaw have formed a great understanding and respect and look set to enjoy many more successes together to the delight of the Celtic support.
