A real left field signing who looked like a £10m player in his first season at the club.
Izzy was in that great batch of signings that Neil Lennon brought in which included Joe Ledley, Gary Hooper and Anthony Stokes.
Sadly an ankle break at Aberdeen took something from his game although he was still more than effective as the current era of dominance kicked off.
A former ball boy was waiting in the wings, a red card against Ajax opened the door to KT with Izzy left on the sidelines although his professionalism never wavered, or his love for the club.
