Brendan Rodgers has made three changes to the Celtic side that drew with Hibs for tonight’s match with Hamilton with a recast back three in defence.

Kristoffer Ajer, Nir Button and Stuart Armstrong come in to the starting XI with Jozo Simunovic, Mikael Lustig and Kieran Rierney dropping onto the bench.

Accies had been on a five match unbeaten run until losing at home to St Johnstone, a sequence that earned Martin Canning and David Templeton the manager and player of the year awards for November.

At the start of September the two clubs met at New Douglas Park where Odsonne Edouard marked his hoops debut with a goal in the 4-1 victory.

After tonight’s match Celtic face three matches in seven days against Hearts, Partick Thistle and Aberdeen as they head towards the three week long winter break.

Rodgers is expected to rotate his squad through that run of fixtures as he makes full use of the players that have taken the club on a 68 match unbeaten domestic run.

CELTIC: Gordon; Ajer, Boyata, Bitton; Brown, Ntcham; Forrest, McGregor, Armstrong, Sinclair; Edouard

SUBS: De Vries, Simunovic, Griffiths, Dembele, Hayes, Lustig, Tierney
