Graeme Murty has praised Dave King for funding his January spending spree.
So far this month Sevco have brought in four loan signings and last night agreed a transfer fee with Hamilton Accies to add Greg Docherty to their impressive roster.
In October’s King’s QC told the Court of Session that his client was penniless but when it comes to football matters cash is King.
Speaking to The Sun Murts said: “Dave King has been hugely supportive and provided great backing during this window.”
In November the Sevco accounts predicted a shortfall of £4m which would be covered by King’s New Oasis Asset Limited company.
Despite the influx of new faces only Carlos Pena on loan has left with Danny Wilson likely to complete a move to Colorado Rapids with no fee involved in either deal.
There has been reports of interest in Josh Windass and James Tavernier but so far no bids have been received but that is expected to change on Wednesday when the transfer window closes.
