Celtic fans will find out later this morning whether the Premiership clash with Dundee will go ahead tonight.

UPDATE: GAME OFF

There are no problems with the pitch but with a yellow weather warning over Glasgow it’s unlikely that the police will allow an event to go ahead that will attract around 40,000 fans.

Scotland woke up to the Beast from the East with schools and nurseries in Glasgow, North and South Lanarkshire closed with train services almost at a standstill.

If the game is postponed it is likely to be rescheduled for next Tuesday or Wednesday which would give Patrick Roberts and Marvin Compper an extra week of training to prepare for the match.

The matches between Motherwell and Aberdeen and Hibs against Hamilton are also likely to be postponed, with the weather expected to get worse over the next 48 hours the weekend Scottish Cup ties could also be in doubt.
