There was one major victim of the Scott Brown- Craig Levein drama and he doesn’t play for either club.
Brendan Rodgers was well briefed about what to expect when he faced the broadcast media ahead of Saturday’s Scottish Cup tie with Partick Thistle.
The Celtic boss obliged with an obsessed reference which was enough to give everyone a headline but Chris McLaughlin of the BBC wanted more.
Giving credibility to the claims of Levein he pushed Rodgers for a response on the conspiracy theory of the Hearts boss.

Rodgers reply was priceless but McLaughlin didn’t take the hint and tried a follow up.
Since the Irishman arrived at Celtic he has provided the BBC with a pre-match interview before every domestic match, for the majority of those games McLaughlin has been asking the questions.
At Saturday’s pre-match interview whoever is there for the state broadcaster is likely to be very thoughtful about the questions put to the Celtic manager.
