Chinese giants Beijing Renhe have dropped their interest in Alfredo Morelos and signed two players for less than £250,000!

Despite having a £22m budget to sign the Columbian goal ace Renhe have decided to spend around one hundredth of their Morelos budget on strengthening two positions.

Left back Nizamdin Ependi, rated by many as the Chinese Lee Wallace has signed from Nei Mongol Zhongyou with Transfer Market rating him at £90,000.

Playmaker Wang Chu has also been snapped up from Portuguese minnows Cova Piedade for a fee reportedly worth €125,000.

Having kept their money in their transfer war-chest Renhe may return with a bid for Morelos in the summer.

There were reports of agents for Morelos jetting in to discuss a bumper new contract with claims that he was in line for £67,000 a week tax free in China.

Sevco snapped up the 21-year-old from HJK Helsinki in the summer for £1m.
