Return of the King

It seems that the euphoria over a few loan signings and finishing third in the Florida Cup has gone to Dave King’s head.

Last summer the South African based criminal explained in detail his dislike of spending too much time in Glasgow but according to a report in the Daily Record he is planning to be at Ibrox one week a month.

The story is believed to have emerged before the defeat from Hibs.

After the three bears refused to provide any further funding King’s New Oasis Asset Limited company are supplying the soft loans to keep Sevco afloat.

Later this month the 62-year-old will appeal against the Court of Session order to support the decision of the Takeover Appeal Board to apply the cold shoulder to King.

In March it will be the third anniversary of King’s concert party takeover when he promised a new NOMAD, a share issue and investing his kids inheritance.

The return of the man described as a glib and shameless liar by a South African judge will increase the pressure on Stewart Robertson and Mark Allen to produce results as Sevco try to hold off Hibs in the battle for third place in the Premiership.
